Crafting Experience: Sugar skulls velvet art
Celebrates: Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead celebrated in Mexico and parts of Latin America and the United States
Description: Learn about Dia de los Muertos and the significance and symbolism of the holiday. Decorate these sugar skulls with colorful foil and gemstone stickers. Simply peel off the different stickers, place the foil on the sticky part and rip off to see the magic! We love how easy and paint free (mess free!) this experience is! Great for little hands. Shipping note: this is a light item so shipping will likely be less than $5! Add to cart to find out!
Kit Details: Each kit contains a sugar skull on velvet sticker board, 12 pieces of colorful foil, 12 gemstone stickers and a wooden tool. Experience comes with 2 individually wrapped kits with different skulls.
Special tips and notes: Respectful celebration - Dia de los Muertos is NOT Mexican Halloween! Though many Latinx will paint their faces as sugar skulls or dress up as colorful skeletons, it's part of a significant cultural ritual and not recommended as a Halloween costume if you are not partaking in the ritual.
These are a perfect Coco themed party favor or craft for your next Coco movie themed party!
